With the electric BMW i3 batteries but still without support from the Ministry of Transportation: A first Turkish made electric minibus has been launched in Israel. The Bon Tour Group, the owners of Metropolin, have begun to import the electric minibus of the Turkish Karsan Group via BG Motors, and will, in the future, also sell electric buses designed by it. It was preceded in importing public transportation vehicles by: the Dan Group, which is a partner in the Hager bus import, and the Blilious Group, which holds the Superbus Company, and imports the Golden Dragon Chinese buses
The B.G. Motors has launched this morning the E-Jest; Israel's first electric minibus, manufactured by the Turkish Karsan Company. This minibus enables the transportation of up to 20 passengers, comfortably and free of air pollution, alongside particularly low operational costs for the public transportation operators.
The B.G. Motors Company, which is active in the parallel importation market of the Mercedes commercial vehicles over the past few years, is transitioning to maintain a regular and direct importation upon the launch of the marketing of the Turkish Karsan brand, specializing in the manufacture and marketing of commercial vehicles and buses, with E-Jest posing as the first representative in Israel – constituting the first Israeli minibus in Israel. A new electric minibus has just landed in Israel. It is small enough to move effectively in the cities, it is 100% electric and environmentally friendly, and it has room for 20 passengers. The Minister of transportation believes that it represents our proximate future.
